Jiarui Han

Jiarui joined the Mitch lab in July 2024 as a visiting scholar. She received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Science at Nanjing University and her Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). She is currently a Research Assistant Professor at HKUST. She is interested in improving public health and environmental sustainability via providing safe drinking water and sanitation. 

Her current research focuses on identifying and understanding toxic high-molecular-weight DBPs formed during various disinfection processes.
