Marlena Hinkle Cheshire

Marlena is completing her PhD in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford. She is from Melbourne, Florida and graduated from Yale with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering and a B.A. in Italian. Her past research has focused on electrochemical generation of hydrogen peroxide for advanced oxidation processes. In her free time she enjoys climbing, hiking, and reading. 

Her current research focuses on identifying and quantifying halogenated aromatic byproducts in disinfected waters.
